VIDEOS

  • This pilot serves as a sonic performance, not in the traditional sense that one may consider music, but more of a symphony composed by the different perspectives and meanings of the word, "direction". It is the marriage of vibrations (physical and mental) that fuses in this film to create a perfect harmony of thought, reaction, awareness and responsibility. The cadence of emotion, brain chatter, physical obstacles and conclusions together awards the viewer with a rare exposition of freedom and vulnerability for the modern artist. BILLABLE HOURS is informed by experience and is a creative interpretation, response to and is also inspired by the new "GRWM" culture associated with short form content creation. Being that the majority of artists must spend a lot of their time alone or in an independent space to stay productive, we are often seen as mysterious, or introverted. While both can be true throughout the artist community, I don't believe our ability to detach from rule or our capacity to observe and analyze things comes from any place other than the place the rest of the world gathers their desire to consume. We all share interests but through different perspectives - some more spectacular than others but we are all the same. Contrarily, I do think the artist has, at some point, tapped into an alternate energy as far as thought process and information processing is concerned, I do not feel there is any innate difference between creator and consumer unless the discussion is built around external driving factors rooted through greed, ignorance and negligence like capitalism, monopoly and social dominance.
