Powhatan County Public Library

Powhatan County Public Library was established on May 9, 1988. The current library building was constructed in 2001 and dedicated on November 3, 2001. The library is a department of the Powhatan County government.

The purpose of the library is to acquire, organize, provide access and offer guidance to a broad range of information, materials, and services. Primarily, this mission is to help fulfill the intellectual, educational, social, cultural, community, and recreational needs of all people in the County.

Stop by the library and fill out a card application. Then explore the 54,000 titles we have to offer, in book, audio or video formats. If we don't have what you want, we can usually get it.
