Hops in the Park

Presented by Henricus Foundation at Henricus Historical Park

Perfect for craft-beer fans, families, and fall festival lovers across Richmond!
At Hops in the Park, visitors can talk with historical interpreters about what it was like to live on the banks of the James River in the early 1600’s. Learn about Sir Thomas Dale, Pocahontas or just enjoy the views of the James River! Listen to live music at the blacksmith and bluff stages while you explore the park. Children are welcome and families are encouraged to explore the historic site; please supervise children at all times.

3,000+ Yearly Guests
Last year, over 3,000 guests joined us to celebrate Virginia’s craft beer and history! This incredible turnout helps fund hands-on education for 10,000 local students annually. Whether you came for the breweries or the live music, your support makes a real impact.

What to Expect
Virginia craft beers, local ciders and wines, brewing demonstrations, crafts market, live music, food trucks, and of course – Virginia history.
