Humanizing Black Cultural Icons Through Portraiture

Chromophore Artspace is honored to present In The Image Of Us, a solo exhibition by Yvonne Ferguson, on view September 5 – October 15, 2025.

Through her practice Diasporic Pigments, Ferguson uplifts and humanizes Black icons—revealing their vulnerability, strength, beauty, and legacy—while pushing back against the notion of Blackness as a monolith.
