Gallerie 45 Grand Opening & Black Feminine Consciousness
Join us for a landmark evening as Gallerie45 officially celebrates its Grand Opening in Richmond’s historic Shockoe Bottom with the opening reception of Black Feminine Consciousness.

Presented in partnership with the Black American Artists’ Alliance of Richmond (BAAAR), this powerful group exhibition features artists Unicia Buster, A. Yhayha Hargrove, Barbara Hobson, and Vashti Woods. Through self-portraiture and female-centered works, the exhibition explores self-awareness, self-value, self-assurance, identity, and the complexity of the Black female experience.

This evening represents more than the opening of an exhibition—it marks a new chapter for Gallerie45, a space created for art, culture, global creativity, meaningful conversation, and community.

Come meet the artists, experience the exhibition, explore Gallerie45, and celebrate our official arrival in Shockoe Bottom.
